I hate to hear that’s still a thing… my ‘20 XLT would do that randomly and drive me crazy. I never could find a cause or solution to it while I had it.
With that said, look in your manual to see how/if you can try to charge the 12v battery and reset the BMS.
We just bought an Explorer ST a...
Yeah... this was a factor in my decision to grab a 2020 instead. I know the technology isn’t “new.” But it’s still problematic for some
makes and I definitely didn’t want to buy a first-model version of that 5.0
I was semi let down in person. Mostly in the exterior and dash/console styling. Just didn’t look as cohesive as the 2015-20. It’s a nice truck, don’t get me wrong; just not what I was expecting.
I’m leaning towards just swapping in a magnaflow muffler and keeping factory resonator. It’ll have some rumble but be pretty tame. Minimal costs as well
Any good pics of it on the Mach E? Everything I’ve seen was inside under show lighting which didn’t look good. I think I’ll need to see it next to Oxford white to appreciate it
Agreed. I actually like the size of the Ranger but for the money, it’s silly not to get an F150 for the added options and capability. The real word price between the two overlaps significantly.
Daydreams aside, a 4.8L has been rumored since 2016. Many thought it would debut for the 2021 MY. My guess is someone mistyped, or misspoke when preparing the press piece. As this is the ONLY mention of a 6.8L anywhere on the web. Who knows, but I welcome a new V8 either way.
The chances of this even being real is slim to none. The chances of it also being diesel? Nonexistent. Ford is not gonna put a 6.8L diesel in a Mustang... LOL
