  1. Ford Recalls 103K F-150 Over Damaged Axle Bolts

Meaning that the axle splines allow the axle to shift or turn slightly in the hub? Otherwise, I wouldn't see how the splines could have anything to do with shearing that bolt.
  2. 93 Octane pump gas locations

You will not find 93 octane in Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Montana. add 5 gallons of E85 to a full tank of 91 Octane. https://morepowertuning.com/pages/emix?srsltid=AfmBOooBW4n1Z5W_I1P4aiJtpDB9ESVuK96AXL6uHEz8kjP1ogFJGjfc
  3. Ford Recalls 103K F-150 Over Damaged Axle Bolts

Yeah if I had one of these, and knowing of this problem, I'd be removing the OEM bolt and installing a 12.9 stud and nut. Ford dealership service centers are some of the most incompetent I have ever dealt with. (at least in my area) I would be, and do, avoid dealership visits at all costs...
  4. Ford Recalls 103K F-150 Over Damaged Axle Bolts

Why not just replace the bolts before they break, with a better quality bolt or better yet, a stud and nut?
  5. Auto Stop/Start not working after subwoofer install

I have the Powerboost, so off isn't an option so instead, I just drive around in Tow-Haul mode all the time. Start/stop is the dumbest feature ever created in the history of the automobile
  6. CAFE Standard is History - Will the PowerBoost be cancelled

According to several articles, 2028 will be the first year of the 15th Gen. Ford is delaying the release. https://www.edmunds.com/car-news/report-next-generation-ford-f-150-delayed-until-2028.html
  7. CAFE Standard is History - Will the PowerBoost be cancelled

By the time the Gen15 is introduced, there will be a new administration in place anyway, which depending on how that goes, will have the next president re-enacting the standard. You might very well see 2027 and 2028 Gen14's drop the option though. I hope for the sake of the extra power and...
  8. Anyone notice 2026 Horsepower lowered on F150?

They also appear to have porked the data on the Pro Power Onboard. 400 Watts?
  9. 🚀 Protect Your Ford F-150 with Heavy-Duty Skid Plates (by Maxzina)! 🛡️

RCI or Talons Garage. I question the design of the "skid plates" in this post. All of the holes only weaken the structure, and will snag on any rock or stump etc. Good skid plates are designed to be smooth, so you can get the vehicle off of the obstacle when it contacts the plate.
  10. Ford may not resume production of F-150 Lightning

Regardless of those facts- subsidies for individual purchases should not come from Tax dollars. Say I want to buy an $800,000 house, but I can really only afford a $600,000 house. Should I be entitled to a subsidy that even people who can only afford a $400,000 house had to pay into, so that I...
  11. Ford may not resume production of F-150 Lightning

Absolutely. The amount of tax dollars "given away" through thousands of different programs, subsidies, other countries war efforts etc. will make your head spin. There's a reason why the US is 36 Trillion in debt. Financial irresponsibility will be the downfall of this country, just like many...
  12. Ford may not resume production of F-150 Lightning

The difference is that only the consumers that purchased an EV got the benefit, while everyone else that could not/did not want one still had to help pay for them. So, everyone else should have also gotten the tax credit applied to their purchase of any new vehicle. Or, no one should get it.
  13. Aftermarket Cold Air Intake- worth it?

They do. Look at the RAM RHO for example. Mustang Mach1/GT350, Raptor R, to name a few.
  14. Ford may not resume production of F-150 Lightning

Why should tax payers who either cannot afford, or do not want an EV be forced to help subsidize the purchase for one to those who want it? This is one of the many reasons why the Government is in debt. Irresponsible spending. If manufacturers cannot create a product that is comparable in...
