They are cheaper until you have a claim. Used to have home & auto with them. Had a claim on the home policy. On renewal they said they could not renew because of the claim. Which meant I would loose the combined home and auto discount, so they were nolonger cheaper.....
If you want the Ford Extended service plan, you have to purchase it through a dealer. Any dealer can sell it to you, regardless where you purchased the truck. If you do a web search for the Ford extended service you will find a website that offers to sell one. This is a Ford dealer in Kingston...
I am still looking myself and am considering all the three you mentioned. From what I have found so far, the Dimandback should be more waterproof than the other two given it is using a compresed weather strip. You can mount a accessory track or just bolt the mounts (eg bike). However, you will...
When you say bought the truck do you mean drove it off the lot or placed an order? If the latter, call your dealer and tell them you have received a private offer. I ordered my truck, then called them a few weeks later when the private offer came in & they applied it to the deal.
I think they just get renewed. I would call your dealer and have them confirm it and see if they can apply it when your truck came in. Mine told me it wouldn't be a problem using the private offer even if the truck came after the expiry date.
Ford Co-Pilot360™ Assist 2.0 can't be an over the air update. For the intelligent adaptive cruse control to work it needs front sendors. That is part of what you get when purchasing the Assist 2.0. In Ford's brochure it states that the hands free navigation is an over the air update but it...
I think it is based on the data from Ford, but not on their tracker. This site's tracker worked for me. At the time it only required the VIN number, but Ford made a change to require the order number. I was able to retrieve my truck's info even after that change. Something else may have changed...
You can use the tracker on this site. Click on the word TRACKER in the menu at the top, then follow the link in that forum. You will need the vin number and the order number. You will need to get the order number from your dealer. It should be on your paperwork as well, but not sure it is...
See this video from Ford on their trailer camera. It states that a bed camera is needed. (It also mentions ULTIMATE TRAILER TOW CAMERA, but I think this is a Super Duty option.) If Ford has gone to a digital system for their camera's with Sync 4 they could probably get away with two wires...
Looks like you have an LED light on the trailer. There are posts on another thread talking about getting errors on the truck when the trailer has LED lights. Might be the same issue.
According to the Ford option weights the Max Trailer tow adds 26 lbs. The Trailer Tow adds 11 lbs. Do the delta should be 15 lbs. Not sure where the extra weight is coming from.
I have an 21 XLT and specifically did not get the sport package because it came with the console shifter. When I test drove a truck with the console shifter, just didn't like where it was positioned. Felt cramped when shifting it. In my opinion it would have been better if it folded down the...
Unfortunately it is all we have in Canada. Having said that I have found it to be pretty accurate. There can be a delay in it being updated, but it showed that my truck had been delivered to the dealer before the dealer called me.
