UPDATE: after the trimming I still notice some rubbing at full lock. Im guessing its the sidewall lugs hitting the control arm and maybe its time for spacers.....or...I just dont turn to full lock and avoid it altogether.
Just this week I got new tires (General Grabber ATX)--lead to trimming front air dam, oil change, transmission fluid exchange and alignment. Previously I swapped to a short antenna and put in the Rough Country rear fender well liners as well as a tonneau cover.
Here are a couple pics of hopefully the fix and the new tires. I know they arent anything crazy or great---but I am excited. Havent been able to do truck things in a long time.
Why do my new tires rub if I purchased the exact same size as OEM tires? I did go from the Dynapro AT2 OEM tire to General Grabber ATX, but their sizes are identical.
