interesting to hear on the c/d and corsa, I too have the same exhaust and that would be the only reason I want to purchase a tune. While noticeable its live-able which is surrprising.
Turns out its the front end doesn't like the tire setup. As if its more sensitive to in perfectly or harder tires 20's with low profile tires vs 17 with big squishy tires. Always thought it was the rear end, not till I took the stock 17's OEM wheels and tires and put them on the rear only and...
Today I took the truck for a short drive, the first 2-3 mins is the worst, which makes sense if its tire related since the tires would have flat spots from sitting for days etc.. Turned the rear view mirror down aimed at the rear cab / tires and noticed how bad the rear bed shakes which is...
So yours if 4x4, so our setup is a little different regarding drive shaft length etc..
Wondering if anyone has tried this on their Gen14's, doubts its the torque convertors doing this weird vibration...
Same rear I believe that's in our as well, do you have the electric locking read as well?
Agree with you regarding sound / cycling sound. Would be crazy if its the trans some how but no mustangs with 10 speeds mention similar issues. Unless our torque convertors are different than the...
Proved your belief to be incorrect. Studied this subject intensely over the past month to the point I even worked with the engineers at Ridetech with multiple shims and icon axle brackets to achieve perfect angles (including ideal 2 degree working angles on both sides) While there is normally...
Wow, hell of a thread. Add me to the list of many to the multiple attempts to fix vibrations. Our is a 2023 F150 Single Cab 2wd 5.0. Stock wheels balanced and also purchased new wheels/tires since I wanted them even before getting the truck. Since we lowered the truck we thought it was ford...
My vibration story, still on going. 2023 scsb 5.0 2wd now at 2500k miles on her. 1k with a ride tech 3/5 lowering kit. Kick myself in the butt since I did rear drop shackles as soon as I got the truck home from the dealership at 100 miles. Had a shake but thought it was pinion angle related so...
any update on your wheel bearing, my 2023 with only 1k miles has a lot of lateral play in the rear left axle bearing. Dealer doesn't want to look at it since i have lowering kit, same as yours.
Sorry for the delayed response. A lot has changed since this post. I purchased and installed a 3/5 Ridetech lowering kit. Love the kit, though it made the pinion angle even more out of wack. Seems the 2023's have new springs and or other changes creating the diff angle to be different than...
just type in s550 irs in f100 in google and you'll see a plethora of info/videos etc.. Surprised no one has done in in a modern F150 yet. Though a lot more involved I'd rather have an irs than a lowered solid axle.
