  1. Introducing Bluepilot! A Ford specific fork for Comma3X / OpenPilot

@Ajzride on 5.0 and FoF, it appears to be consistently favoring the inside of moderate turns at 60mph. Enough that it rides on or crosses lane markings. Is there any tuning to account for this or is it inherent to the model?
  2. Introducing Bluepilot! A Ford specific fork for Comma3X / OpenPilot

Did a bit more driving today. Steering is very smooth and capable. It appears to be consistently favoring the inside of moderate turns at 60mph. Is there any tuning to account for this or is it inherent to the model? Lane changes are incredible now. Not sure when this changed but before on 2.1...
  3. Introducing Bluepilot! A Ford specific fork for Comma3X / OpenPilot

Finally made the jump from 2.1 which I was very happy with on WD40 and North Dakota models. 5.0 and Liquid Crystal is quite a leap forward. Very impressed. I need to do more driving but it feels like on 5.0 the following distances have increased, while on Ford ACC. Is that possible? It's...
  4. Belltech Rear Anti-Sway Bar: Part #5561 2021+ F150 2WD/4WD

That looks awesome, where did you get the extended links from? I was surprised at the angle mine sits at with original short links and I don't feel like I have enough length to use the stiffer settings. I also have an issue where the entire linkage gets 'flipped' upwards when the truck is...
  5. Introducing Bluepilot! A Ford specific fork for Comma3X / OpenPilot

It looks like I hadn't updated the target branch since the stable nomenclature was deprecated. It was still searching for 'Staging 2.1' and not finding.
  6. Introducing Bluepilot! A Ford specific fork for Comma3X / OpenPilot

@Ajzride I've been getting this warning for the last few weeks. My truck connects to my house wifi almost nightly. Is open pilot pushing for a newer version? I'm still on 2.1
  7. 2021+ F-150 FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet

Thanks, that tool looks super useful. Will compare to see if anything has changed. The service I need is just some minor mechanical items. Diff is seeping around sensor and turn signal gets stuck in right turn setting. I was more so trying to understand best practices so I don't bugger...
  8. 2021+ F-150 FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet

@rugedraw / @Livnitup What is the latest guidance on restoring to an original backup after receiving an OTA? I've read conflicting posts and its unclear if this can cause problems? I made backups of each module as recommended when I first got Forscan and then made quite a few of the popular...
  9. 2022 CCD shocks ride like crap?

I can imagine no one enjoys riding around with the mushy pedal and potentially worse MPG in eco mode. I felt the same but just happened to try it out one day on a whim. I also had found a point of contentment with my setup. I initially cranked my settings up to 1080KG. I found this tamed a lot...
  10. 2022 CCD shocks ride like crap?

Has anyone here done much testing in eco mode? I've been running around recently testing at 900 kg(snakebittens values), and decided to try eco mode for a while. The results have surprised me. In eco mode it feels like the suspension is a little bit softer, but at the same time I'm noticing a...
  11. Belltech Rear Anti-Sway Bar: Part #5561 2021+ F150 2WD/4WD

The lowest part of the bar is at the diff, and for me the bar points upward towards the front of the vehicle at about a 30° angle. A couple of install notes: As others mentioned the sway bar needed to go to the outside of the links which is opposite of the instructions. The instructions...
  12. Introducing Bluepilot! A Ford specific fork for Comma3X / OpenPilot

On a side note, the other night I forgot to plug back in the OBD connection after making some forscan edits. I was surprised that the comma didn't throw and error and that it was still operational albeit more twitchy. I have the newer harness with no cat cable.
  13. 2022 CCD shocks ride like crap?

Awesome. Glad it worked it worked out. I'm sure people will need to make changes depending on their use cases. I still need to install my sway bar and will probably need to adjust things back a touch. If you're carrying much weight in that trailer you may want to consider the RAS setup like...
  14. Belltech Rear Anti-Sway Bar: Part #5561 2021+ F150 2WD/4WD

@staying_tuned Just received one of these. The instructions say to lift the truck up and remove the rear wheels. Is that really necessary or can this thing be installed while on the ground?
