    I recently installed the wireless stick-on keypad on my 24 F150, and I had to purchase a 2-day FDRS license ($50) to program the BCM to recognize it. Dealerships around me wanted at least $200 to install it. So, I spent the $50 and also did some module updates.

    No fuel door lock/latch on the STX. Sounds like on the upper trims that not a good place to put it.

    You do have to log in to FDRS as a non-dealer/independent repairer to go through the programming steps. Assuming you are using the latest version of FDRS, the login will be the same as the one you use at ford.com. You should not have to relearn any keyfobs. I don't use the keypad that often...
