Correct, everyone uses the GM sensors (made by Continental) on their vehicles when doing Flex Fuel via aftermarket means. My other car its just wired to an unused input at the ECM (before the can setup was available) and then then the software has the provisions for it and its flawless, its...
nope the stock 3.0L TT V6 with bolt ons and a very tiny set of stock turbos with modified comp/turbine wheels, completely stock untouched 7spd as well. Car went 10.83@128 on the factory turbos.
I follow you loud and clear, what I am saying is the proper way to do it is how every other platform does it, with a dedicated Flex Sensor. When the software has the integration into it tuning is a breeze for any E percentage.
2017 Infiniti Q60 that I dailied for 4yrs until December when I got my RCSB, I still have it but it's sitting under a cover until I can decide what to do with it... right around 700 awhp and 4200lbs, first full pass on the final version of its build that was far from perfect went 10.13@138 with...
24-25 has 0 flex fuel capability unlike the 21-23, they just need to designate an input to allow a flex sensor to be implemented and make the software configurable or figure it out via Can as you stated, its not difficult.
Map switching is extremely inconvenient, it needs Flex Integration...
yea I dont care how it happens but if there is no way this is really mostly for nothing imo, I will not boost or even modify anything if I can't run E85. I'm just going to sit on the sidelines until the details of all of this are ironed out because nothing is really known about what can or can't...
Got a text around the same time you posted it from my buddy over there, is there actually a tune available or is that a wait process until the shops get the trucks on the dyno to create some canned files?
Anyone else had this issue yet? It doesnt do it all the time but its becoming more frequent, once the window goes into its final pull up position it will automatically go back down on its own. It does it with manual application on the switch, or the auto full pull feature, does it no matter...
Does everyones emblem do that lightup cycle where it like goes in a circle pattern like on Putco's website? I know for sure mine doesnt it just illuminates.
Well aware, that's why I am using a low blend, the truck will still be able to compensate for it at that low blend.
I have been using E85 in vehicles since 2007, I know what I'm doing.
why is there a cost difference? I didnt price up or replace the passenger side because its practically brand new, but I dont see why there would be different prices.
LOL they have a passenger cushion in there for $1,550! Yea kiss my azz, that is robbery
