Thanks all for the great recommendations. (y)
The sew on covers do look nice. Obviously, some patience and attention to detail needed with these.
What type material did you order? Choices are Alcantara, Leather, Faux Leather and Suede.
Your XLT steering wheel looks great.(y)
I was thinking a more low tech solution as in a slip on cover.
If I am going to the trouble to change out the steering wheel, I might as well install one with the paddle shifters. Then again, don't know if they would work on my '23 XL. 🤔
Have 2.7 ecoboost with stock intake / exhaust and I can hear a subtle turbo whine at idle. Recently when pulling into my driveway, my significant other was standing outside and said it sounded like a jet airliner taxiing. :)
Wait until you get into some mud and it gets deposited on all the chassis to bed hardware back there.
I upgraded from a 2012 Nisson Frontier Pro 4X which did not come standard with wheel well liners. Every time I drove on a muddy road, the struts and area around the rear wheel would get...
I found saving to favorites or "presets" puzzling as well. However once you follow the procedure Confused outlined you will think to yourself "Was it really that easy all along?" I find if I haven't saved a favorite in awhile, I still have to scratch my head whenever I want to save a "favorite."...
Sometimes one will hear a “whine” from an alternator under load. Which would be the condition right after starting. It does seem a little louder than normal in the video.
Must be a common issue with some V6 engines at idle. My 2023 FX4 2.7l idles rough as well - misses a little. Not any real vibration per se. Once warmed up seems to go away.
On the other hand my former 2012 Nissan Frontier with the 4.0l V6 vibrated at idle from new until I traded it in this...
I habitually peek out the rear window, scan mirrors and sides when reversing. In my mind, the back up camera is another tool for help with the blind spot behind our tall F150’s.
Thanks to @FerdBerfal’s detailed write up, I swapped out my 2023 RCSB XL plain jump seat with a new 2024 removal with top storage compartment I got off Ebay.
Tools used were 1/2” socket alternating between 1/2”, 3/8” and 1/4” drives and various short extensions for the extra bolt on the...
Hi all, been lurking since February when I purchased a used, well cared for 2023 F150 RCSB FX4 with 2.7l ecoboost. With just over 36,000 miles. This was the exact package I was looking for. As far as I know, this package is no longer available. Only the 5.0 V8 can be ordered with the RCSB now...
