What's weird for me is the way the OTA system gives information about OTAs. I find my truck gets in a cycle of:
1. Letting me know something is available
2. Failing to install it
3. Telling me it's complete
4. Letting me know the same thing is available, then repeating steps 2-4.
It's really...
I'm not sure if that fix only works for iPhone users. I'm on Android Auto. I can try dark mode, but that would be weird if it does fix it. Nonetheless, I'll try.
I have a this same issue. It's been happening since I bought the truck brand new earlier this year. I only have 4500 miles on the truck so I took it into the dealer and they said they cannot reproduce the issue. They didn't drive it at highway speeds, so that's to be expected. Wasted a bunch of...
I have a this problem constantly. I will play Pandora usually and the audio will just somehow stop. Then sync will freeze. I have a 23 f-150 Ecoboost 3.5 with sync. I checked the app and it says I have software version ECG-242.4.10, last updated Sep 5 2024.
I routinely have to reset sync on...
It's so crazy, I must be stuck in OTA purgatory again as my 2021 Powerboost is stuck at 4.2.4 still. This would be the second time I have been stuck in purgatory if that is the case. Ugghhh.
I just received 4.2.2 on my Powerboost and was wondering for more details. I've seen various links for Ford Power Up historical information such as https://fordpowerups.com/, another one on the wikipedia site, but this link here seemed more accurate.
The fact that we have so many websites out...
And apologies, I intended to say it was scary my dealer and Ford didn't know, but unfortunately my I stopped the the thought early as I was typing on my cell phone, which admittedly, I suck at. Still, your link is great, thanks again.
I did. What I can say is that now, my 2021 F150 has Ford Power Up 3.5 3 with android auto full screen. But, how I got there isn't clear.
When I called Ford Sync supprt they acknowledged, based on my VIN, that I should get this uodate, and that others have had this problem and that to resolve it...
The Pro-Power on board inverter has software attached to it. Depending on the version of that software, you can get premature short circuits. If you have an old version of the software and can convince your dealer to update it, your problem could be resolved that way without having to buy any...
My 2021 Powerboost (VIN: 1FTFW1ED0MFB28588) is at Sync version 22177 product revision 473.
The website for Ford Pass says my VIN has automatic sync updates and map updates available.
But, my truck believes no updates are available.
I've tried with wifi on and off, and in both cases checking...
That's good to know. I checked my 21 powerboost and I'm still at 22177_PRODUCT Revision 473. It'd be nice to get this update.
Also, I find it weird that my truck says I have Ford Sync 4, but my Ford pass says I have Sync 4a. And Ford pass says I don't have automatic uodates on but my truck...
