I'd have to assume major issues get more attention than this one.
My job is controls/automation. I understand living with annoyances while working on more critical things (if resource constrained).

I cut out that piece in front of the air intake and took it for a drive. I THINK it is "fixed".
Thanks to all for your input, and I hope others find it helpful too.
I'm gonna take it in soon for a couple things... the intake, oil life screwing up, and to see if they'll acknowledge or address the 4x4 howling in cold weather.
Its very possible this noise is related to the turbo not getting enough air. I haven't been getting on it enough to hear it.
Last oil change at ~7500 miles (only around 5500 of those running the engine). Said I needed an oil change again at ~12,500. I figured fine, its close enough to my planned 5k mile interval, but its odd... Dumped still great looking PUP, replaced filter with OEM, reset, and now get this. Notice...
Ah... so the Vin part is my problem! That part number had appeared to be tied to an older model truck but this makes more sense now. Thank you.

So... 2024 F150 crew, black interior.
My lazy a$$ said "it's only a mile" and I put 3- 5qt jugs of used oil on the rear floor liner. Made sure caps were good and tight. Turned a corner and my son says "Dad it's leaking!" Cap popped off and 3 quarts spilled... a bunch overran the floor liner and...
