My s/w rev was stuck on a July release forever, & finally realized it was because I was on experimental branch. Just switched to staging so now caught up to 2024.12.09 on my 2021 Powerboost. Question - are most of you finding best success w/ Notre Dame driving model?
My ‘21 has 90k miles, and a 100k ESP. Dealer options are limited in my area; closest is 1 hour away and the truck spends an average of 4 weeks/year in the shop. This dealer works on at most another 2 Powerboosts, so their diagnostics/repair time are extended due to limited expertise/staffing...
Ford ESP also gives me peace of mind, I have the PremiumCare option thru 100k mi. I’m at 87k now, and if I keep the truck past 100k will extend the coverage to 120k. I likely won’t keep the truck beyond that.
I don’t know about Canada, but in the US there are a handful of dealers that heavily...
It’d be a commercial ad if there was something in it for me. You identified Bluecruise limitations; I’m just sharing what I (and others on this community) are using to achieve similar functionality across more roads.
Since you like to tinker, if you don’t already have forscan you should look...
While we're on the topic of "tricks" our trucks can do, one I learned recently that I love and use often is to push the '5' button (middle one) on the door keypad immediately after entering your unlock code to drop the tailgate
Dealer came clean today and agreed to waive diagnostics and charges for the current sensor part & aux battery assembly, but will be charging me for the aux battery (no issue for me). I’ve skipped challenging them on the rental car for now.
on the hybrid battery, as far as I can tell…once we...
Sounds like quite the trip! So for Bluecruise alternative, I highly recommend the Comma 3x. Love this in my 2021 Powerboost.

Helpful and agreed. As I looked at the fine print, I see nothing about the requirements to only reimburse rental for a Ford rental vehicle… So a candid conversation with the dealer is in the cards next week.
That’s the point of this thread. To raise awareness that:
A) it doesn’t covered every sensor on the truck, and
B) that rental car isn’t necessarily covered / based on availability of a Ford from the nearest Enterprise, and
looking to hear other experiences.
