  1. Possible transmission pan for Powerboost

Nope can't blame em for something that won't sell enough units. Small business ROI must not be worth it. I just want a plug and a decent metal pan. Maybe if the 10r80MHT or whatever it's called stays in production another 6 years we will get one.
  2. Newest Forscan Spreadsheet

Thanks! This is a main reason for me getting forscan and the ex in the near future. I just got the Vlinker fs and lite for the on the fly diagnostics. I had that screen on multiple times to check the tiedowns and suspension on a lightweight kayak/gear trailer over 4k miles this summer. That...
  3. Powerboost transmission drain and fill

$500 sounds reasonable in today's pricing. I have seen filter and fluid drain and fill quoted at over $1k from a dealer...but that was a reddit thread so take that. This thread will be looked at again for the proper fluid level at the very least... Now, my big question is existential...
  4. Two very different ways of TRANSMISSION FLUID Drain / Fill method

I wish they made the PPE with the drain for the PB. Contacted PPE and they said it is not in the works. I contacted Mishimoto and they did not respond. Jacking the transfer and moving exhaust sounds like a challenge without a lift, and the two little silicon tube connectors sound finnicky...
  5. Possible transmission pan for Powerboost

👍I have always used 90 in a subaru outback. Mainly in mild so cal but it does get time in sub zero. Mishimoto never responded. I'll take it as a no.
  6. Possible transmission pan for Powerboost

My brain is turning to crap must need some gear oil. 90 or 140?
  7. Possible transmission pan for Powerboost

Right. I was thinking LV cause I just drained and filled a Cmax CVT. I got some of that left. I believe the LV is the correct viscosity for the rear differential and transfer case.
  8. Possible transmission pan for Powerboost

Yes pumping.it.out and putting.back Reply from PPE: "Nothing is in the works for the power boost at the moment from what I understand." 🤨oh well. Pump it is. Either cheapo harbor freight electric or hand pump will suffice. I am not jacking the transfer without a better pan replacement with...
  9. Possible transmission pan for Powerboost

Yes. I picked up a used 23 PB with 14.5k miles in May. I have put 8k miles on it, most on a trip from Southern California up to Alberta. I want to drain and fill the transmission in the not too distant future. Sure would be nice if Misshomoto, PPE, or some other aftermarket manufacturer...
