Notability was what I used to finish the drawings. This kind of design does not require CAD. it is very simple. Those deing spanned across 16 pages.
Notability was an App that I used to sketch / take note since I was a boy in high school.
But the app is trash now so I dont recommend.
No sillicone (as in caulking style sillicone)
I used bulb weather stripping to try to make it seal. Proper compression and shape is necessary to ensure at least somewhat functional seal.
It will not be perfect.

For every part of the frame on the underside of the drawer, there are two...
The sensor will not pierce through any part made of metal or any material excessively thick.
You can try making a metal bracket and plastic weather cover, which is what I did.
I made the sensor bracket too. it was easy for me. It is unlikely to find such bracket for sale without it being...
Please refer to the new picture (one reply before your reply) with the bullbar installed.
Front distance sensor works. Fron experimenting, it only works when placed at portrait orientation.
Front camera and camera wash nozzle relocated too.
Blue Cruise Working as intended for over 6000 miles...
For my design, given how close the frame of the drawer is to the tailgate. I could have just attach my steals right on the frame so when tailgate closes, the compression can ensure a good seal.
however i am not sure if I have the time to experiment anymore. Other life duty calls.
They also have a version that bridges the tailgate and the truck bed, which did not work for me. it peeled on the tailgate end. The foam worked 75% of the time, however does not guarantee 100% dust proof but it was about 80% dust reduction. (same amount of dust, without strip, takes a few days...
They are just called 8020 aluminum extrusion. I bought the 1" ones.
The company was located in Fort Wayne, Indiana and named PARCO. I am a Purdue Alumini so it was a close drive to me to save on shipping.
i forgot unfortunately,
but the tire does not protrude over the fender, even without fender flares. Would that be minus 22 mm something? My order confirmation on my email no longer shows the offset.
Rims were from Icon Alloy vector 6 17". I think it is gun metal grey.
Tires were something diameter at 33.93". Someone convert that to numbers please.
No rub at leveled front.
The tailgate has bulb seals i installed. The truck cap has foam seals (i made sure at least this one did not leak)
Under the drawer there are foams. Near drawer doors there are bulb seals.
Dust still somehow get into the vehicle but not as bad as i had it before. it used to be all red when you...
