I have a 2022 Ford F-150 PowerBoost. It has an Active Air Damn issue. I had just taken it to the dealership. The dealer quoted me $1500 to replace it. States it was an actuator issue. I have a Ford Premium Warranty. This repair should be covered. Am I missing something? I don't want to put out...
So this issue just hit me. 22 XLT PowerBoost with 50500 miles on it. Took it to the dealership. They had the truck for three days where they made the supposed repair? When I left the vehicle with them it had no check engine light on. It did have stored codes they pulled and began the CSP repair...
Would it be possible for me to obtain the same report. I would greatly appreciate it. Mine has been doing the same thing and I finally got frustrated with it. Thanks in advance for your help. Much appreciated.
So since there is no fix Ford has available, and they know about it. No fix till 2025! I'm assuming because they know this could cause "damage!" As they stated, then they shouldn't have an issue extending our warranties to reflect the gap in their inability to take corrective action in a timely...

Who in their right mind would like any release of an app that is supposed to be better than the previous version and have a more robust feature set. This update takes us back to rubbing sticks together to make fire like a caveman.
You took away a bunch of functionality. I suppose the next...
I only had one issue with mine if you could even quantify it as one? The passenger side accordion style rubber gasket popped off. Popped it back on, good to go. No leak issues here.
I believe this vehicle has both a "belt assisted alternator, and a belt assisted starter". Not sure why the fancy terms? So basically every one of these they made has this defect?
I have the same issue. It happens randomly. No rhyme or reason. Although in my opinion it tends to rear it's ugly head when ambient conditions are moist or high humidity. That just may be a personal observation of mine, not sure? The dealer said the part is on order should be available sometime...
Understood. It's nice to get a piece of kind and having others that have had the same issues as you. To get an idea on how to troubleshoot to get a resolution or find the root cause. Thanks. Much appreciated ?
