I'm happy you're so close to getting your truck. It just wouldn't have been right for mine, ordered 3 months later, to be delivered first. I, sadly, remain "in production" limbo
I would have been slightly annoyed, yes. lol

You went to Sawgrass Ford as well right?

My dealer has no new news for me either. I also contacted FPC and struck out too. No shipping information on my truck yet, but still has an ETA of September 14th. My dealer says the truck may already be shipped, but Ford hasn't updated the status in the systems yet... who knows, I guess only the mothership does.

It does seem odd that bother FPC and my dealer says there are no holds on the truck and ready to go, no missing parts, just waiting on a train. I would think that in the last 15 days enough trains would have left the yards headed to Canada that my truck would be on one by now...

So ford claimed they secured more chip supply. With them finishing the thousands and thousands of trucks they had sitting around while still producing as many as they can, it probably created a bottleneck at shipping

Who else does Ford use to transport trucks besides https://palsapp.com/? I have tried looking up other trucks at my dealer and non of them show up on Palsapp. I am assuming they use multiple vendors.

New Question for the group. I am planning on a BakFlip MX4 bed cover. I have never had one before because I normally do a spray-in liner. Do you guys do a spray-in liner and a bed cover?

I'm getting both... I'm getting an after-market Spray-In, and WAS going for a Rough Country cover too, but it's out of stock so I'm getting the Ford tri-fold hard cover.

I am. Have my tri-fold down in the office waiting. And factory spray in. Firsts for both for me.

I'm just questioning why the liner if I have a cover. It's more weight. I'm sure I will do both.

I ordered factory spray in liner and have the bakflip revolver waiting for the truck to arrive.

I did it for the protection. I’m sure the cover will get folded up and the bed used a few times doing “truck” stuff. Rather not look at ugly scratched paint in the bed anymore.

Also getting both from factory. The way I look at it, cover is to protect whatever I put back there (assuming it's small enough the cover will close). The liner is to protect the truck from whatever I haul, like furniture or tools.

Yep, that was my thinking. Cover protects the things in the bed. Bedliner protects truck from the things in the bed.
