My dealer cant explain it either. It's a crap shoot. Things changed when buyers started using them just for transportation and grocery-getters, not needing the more aggressive thread needed in the construction field. Also, ford has been skimping on tires since their Firestone divorce. All the tires i been getting since are cheap General, Hankook and Pirelli. Wouldn't even consider any of them if i was to go buy a set.

i have the hancook 20" on mine too, for me they look dreadful, like they have 30'000 miles on them, way prefer the michelin 20"s i had on my 2016

we're all getting impatient haha. Let's switch up the topic. This is will likely (still not sure) be the first time I trade in my car. What is the process like nowadays (i.e., how long does it take?, what to watch out for, etc)?

For what it's worth my Lariat 502A 2wd has 275/60/R20 Goodyear Wrangler Territory HT tires

i think all 4x4's get the hancooks

Did you find a good price on this?

Yea. I paid 6215 for the ESP and the maintenance plan, 595 for the Luxcare XT, and 714 for the 3-4-1. You guys outside Florida should get cheaper rates. As for us Florida guys, we can only haggle the months and price of the Luxcare if I recall correctly.

She’s home!!
I had a 2017 XLT and just coming from a 2019 Ranger Lariat. This 21’ was worth the wait!!! I’m no mod guy but I’ll buy new “more aggressive” tires in the fall for our ?? winters!

Thanks for getting me through the last 5 months 4/26 crew! You know I’ll keep following this thread for tips, questions and overall badass-ness!!

my 2016 was spec'd the same, grey with the sport package and the dark silver 20" rims. Very good looking truck, congrats!

I really dislike the look of the stock tires. There a guy in the Leadfoot Show and tell thread that posted pics of his truck with BFG TA KO2's with a 275/60/20 size. When mine arrives, I'm going to see if I can cut a deal to get those put on.

Man this truck is beautiful, and I feel like a kid again. Haha. I haven't even played around with any of the setting except linking my phone to the car. I didn't check for rust, but I'll do that tomorrow.
I did have to major scratches in the interior, so their going to have Ford replace those parts.

Do you know if that would be the same in the 4x4 with max tow, I think this gets a different tire, just not sure brand.

You don't like Wranglers or the Hankook?
I think Wranglers come with 18" tires, while Hankook comes with 20" tires. (Lariat trim)

I hope that you guys that payed the extra 1.5k for the 20" wheels (which appear to come with Hankook tires on the Lariat) actually keep your wheel and tire set. Replacing them right away is basically like throwing away the 1.5k. I didn't spend the money on the 20" wheel set bc I didn't care for the wheels. To each their own I guess. ??‍

I been thinking about them too, but since my service manager hates them because of consistent balancing problems, thoughts of getting them are history. I think i'll just keep the crap Hankooks for now

My dealer is going to put 20 Michelins that are a wider tire on my truck, when it come in, and I pay the difference

It's that big difference that sort of bothers me. Those things cost a fortune up here in Canada. I usually trade every 2-3 years anyways.
