Mine arrived 3 days after it was ready for its "final leg" but that was b/c of the Tropical Storm.According to the dealer on Monday it was in Alabama awaiting its final leg to the dealer, which is in Florida, so about 7-8 hours away. I guess it depends on when the transport truck leaves Alabama!
US is sending those same canned responses. My weekly email response is usually from Steven, seems he is out and Karen is in this week. ? I talk to the dealership, they have no info other than eta is 10/31. Contact customer service, they say contact dealership. ?

One day a kid and crazy old man claiming to be a scientist are gonna show up and tell you to double down on microchips….lolMaybe they found a DeLorean and are trying to go back in time, reverse how they handled this chip shortage.
? I work in the electronic manufacturing industry, the semiconductor industry sure has its ups and downs. Glad we are diversified. I stay away from gambling in our industry on stocks. I prefer crypto and a little roulette every now and again. ?One day a kid and crazy old man claiming to be a scientist are gonna show up and tell you to double down on microchips….lol
My 4/29 build date still has 10/31 but the sales lady told me the comment went from chip hold to annually adjusted on her report.

They are not the easiest thing to produce either, incredible technology!? I work in the electronic manufacturing industry, the semiconductor industry sure has its ups and downs. This is totally Ford's problem. They can do it way better, but they just don't care and give me no shit.I sure can understand the frustration I just don't know who we are supposed to be frustrated with. The entire planet fell off a cliff this past year and it wasn't any one group's fault entirely.
Yes very complex. We build the manufacturing equipment needed for the semiconductor business. Very cool to see the whole process end to end. They are not the easiest thing to produce either, incredible technology!
I'm not saying they did it right, just not sure they had many options that were truly good ones in the situation the world found itself in. I think they "hoped" things would get better and even to some extent buried their heads in the sand about the problem and it got way bigger than they imagined.Ford could have been better prepared but you’re right, it’s not Ford’s fault and this is the wrong forum to discuss who’s “fault” it was...
That said... Ford IS 120% responsible for the piss poor way they’ve handled the whole mess. Just blowing us all off like they really couldn’t give a rats ass.
They blew a Golden Opportunity to solidify customer loyalty. How many posts do you think you’d be reading about people throwing in the towel and going to another brand had those people been hearing regularly from a Ford rep directly?
Even if it was just “sorry, no change in status at this point but we’re working hard to get you your truck and we appreciate your patience”.
But all we hear is “shut the fcuk up and quit your whining... you’ll get your damn truck when we’re good and ready to ship it to you”!
And we all hear that loud & clear!
Man you really love that Mach E site. Do you own stock in it?
