Same here. You would think they would have a nice stock pile for at least a month. Lol anyone know on average how many chips it takes to built let’s say a mid range F150?

I just hope when they start back up they have enough parts in hand and en-route to stay open at least a couple months.

KC 6/7originally.... hoping I land here.

Your dealer should be able to tell you an estimated build week.
How far after your order is the dealer able to provide an estimated build week? I placed an order on 5/17, spoke with the dealer today and they had no update.

You won't get a build week until your order is selected for scheduling and it all depends your order and the plant. Last week no F150's were scheduled but they are scheduling this week. I think scheduling usually happens on Thursday so check with your dealer on Friday and ask for a copy of your Vehicle Visibility Report.

Once you get a VIN they have an estimated build week.

Has anyone's build week/day been rescheduled? Mine is still saying 6/21 but I saw on another thread that some KC builds got pushed back again.

I had a KC 6/17 build day that has been moved to a 7/4 day. I only know because I checked in with Ford Customer care via email.

I’m still 6/21 as well out of Dearborn. If it were to get pushed would the blend date on the window sticker update? I’m also surprised there are only a couple of us in the 6/21 club.

I too have a build week of 6/21. We should know soon if the date is going to slip.

Figured I would start this thread out since I know a few of us have blend dates during the week of 6/21. I for one have a blend date of 6/21. What are the chances it stays the same date? You think it will go through with all the chips installed? This is my second order so I hope this one goes a bit smoother! ?
Have my VIN, no window sticker yet. Dearborn is the factory. Dealer told me on June 3rd, build week was June 21 with a completed date of July 14. I don’t believe that will be the case. 21 F-150 Lariat, placed on May 11th. I will be following for more updates. You would think with all the shut downs, they would have enough chips to run a few weeks and produce 3 or 4 weeks in a row?

My dealer gave me a build week of June 7 in April. The window sticker appeared 2 weeks ago with a blend date of June 22. Dearborn.

Well, maybe with a blend date of 4/20 and KC closed the day before, maybe when they open in mid June they will build mine first. Ha, Ha, not with my luck.

What does the official Ford tracker say?

I can't say this for sure, as I'm not an insider at Ford with knowledge, but from what I gather reading around, producing anything without chips then letting them sit to be completed later was a colossal disaster that they appear to regret ever having done.

I would fully expect (And this is what we've seen since early May) that anything that actually makes it down the line going forward will be a complete build. Meaning they're only scheduling production for the chips they have on hand. This is supported by the fact that they're reducing shifts at both plants and doing intermittent shutdowns, if they wanted to keep letting trucks pile up with missing parts they wouldn't have needed to do all these shutdown and reduced schedules.

So what I'm trying to say is... Once you have an actual build date and it goes down the line, it should be fairly normal scheduling from there, with you hopefully getting your truck within 1-4 weeks from the time it's produced. You may see the production date get pushed a few times, which many have reported, but once you do actually get produced, I don't think you're going to see them piling up in lots in anymore. It appears they learned their (Painful) lesson on that one.

Hopefully the people that are waiting on chips while their trucks sit on a lot will get some kind of price concession.
