2024 F150 Lowering Factory Running Boards

My wife and I just bought a new 2024 F150 Lariat and the wife finds the running boards way too high.
We came from a 2020 Ram 1500 Sport that had power running boards and we loved them.
I was looking for a way to lower the factory running boards and couldn’t find anything so I made a drop bracket that could lower them 2” and also made a set to lower them 3” to see how it would look and see if there’s enough drop for the wife.
Then I got thinking that people that lift there F150’s might want to lower there boards.
I’m going to get these mounted up this weekend and see how it goes.

I installed the 2” drop on the drivers side and the 3” drop on the passengers side
I like the functionality of the 3” drop but not a fan of the look
I like the look of the 2” drop better.

Well done. That is one of the most needed mods. I have more trouble getting out of the truck. I have the equipment to make just not the skills to figure it out.

If I can get enough interest in these drop brackets I’m definitely thinking of offer them for sale.
I can scale these brackets from 1” drop to 6” drop for the guys that have lifted trucks or people with mobility issues.

Just a heads up the super duty brackets are identical but longer. They’ll bolt right on. Most super duty guys swap to the f150 brackets so I’d imagine there’s a surplus around.

I would be interested in a set of 2 inch drop brackets. If they fit a 2021 XLT. I will even come pick them up neighbour. Wife also has a hard time getting in..

I would love to get these for the 2025 King ranch I just got. I moved from a Ram 1500 and was better able to use those steps to get into the vehicle. Let me know if I can order a set from you?

I will be selling them in raw metal form for now with mounting hardware but not sure what final cost will be yet. Hope to have that figured out in the next week or so.

Unfortunately the lift is not for sale lol
Its my buddys shop and he uses it to apply Xpel paint protection film
My truck was there getting Xpel filmed at the same time i was installing the drop brackets

Can you ask him what he would charge to install Matt backfill on my b pillars? Would make the trip even better...plus plus..
