Anyone noticed significantly smoother trans since latest update?

Got an OTA update last week (don't know how to look at the version) and the trans has been way smoother since. Does Ford update the trans tunes via these over the air updates? It's usually a jerky mess like most 10Rs are but this week it has been smooth as butter.

Trucks got 14k miles so it wouldn't be the adaptive learning would it? Truck is a 5.0 STX.

I wish mine would get a transmission update. I've had cars from the 1980's that shift better than this 10-speed turd.

Now that you mention it, I haven't noticed the clunky downshifts when slowing for a stop. Either I am so used to it, or it did go away. I will have to tune in a bit more and see whats what.

Unfortunately no, mine still shifts like crap. It's a PB though so my expectations are very low and I'm just glad that it starts and moves (most of the time).

I did notice the lack of “clunk” when it is downshifting from fourth to third.

It would be listed in your trucks screen under software updates. Or in the Ford App (Settings > Software Updates > Update Details).
