Yes Moe, but there maybe a way in asbuilt configuration; I think the default APIM behaviour is governed by country code. If you're willing, you can make this change to try it:

Change APIM 7D0-03-01 from 4341 xxxx xx-- (CA=Canada) to 5553 xxxx xx-- (US=United States). If that doesn't fix it, I can investigate further.
What is the worst that will happen if I do this? I would just revert changes correct?

After I make this change, should I do a apim reset?

That change is to the TCU, so reboot the TCU if anything. An APIM reboot won't hurt though.

Ok. I seen he wrote APIM thats why I asked. I will apply this in TCU and do a module reboot on both and report back.

Once I do the reboot, Im guessing it should default to either us, which we hope, or it will go to back to Canadian correct?

No no, we want the APIM country code to change.
I stand corrected. 7D0 is the APIM.

TCU works fine, so we don't touch it. we are looking at defaulting the APIM Settings > General Settings to imperial values.

Yes, the APIM change is not a dangerous one. We can revert if necessary. Do reboot the APIM after the change.

Done. not sure if it worked or not. Everything is US measurements after I did the reboot.
Your odometer should be in miles, your cluster temp should be in °F, your fuel economy in the cluster and trip 1/2 should be mpg, your SYNC should be in °F up in the status bar and hopefully your HVAC knobs too.

If all is good so far, then we have made changes to 2 modules: IPC and APIM. You should back up those modules.

You should also verify that fordpass still works, because now the country codes of the APIM and TCU do not match each other. If that becomes an issue, we can revert the APIM and put up with occasionally re-doing the temp and miles stuff in SYNC settings, or we can change the TCU country code to US and see if fordpass and OTAs still work; all that is down the track for now though.

Yes. After I did the Module reboot, everything came correct like I was looking for. HVAC, Outside temp, miles, DTE, and Fuel economy was US Measurements.

Fordpass started my truck and unlocked doors as well.

I opened forscan and press save all on both of those modules. I have all my oem modules saved from when I purchased my truck as well as all my revisions I did.

So it looks like everything is good to go. Hopefully we didn't mess with anything for OTA updates.... Just spend 3 days fixing all that lol

Thank you soo much! Might of changed the game for everyone else too!

If i run into any other issues, we will tackle them down the road. Everything seems to be working as it should.
