I was excited to find out about Granger's deal because that made the decision to buy a new truck feasible on my budget. I thought FOR SURE a local dealer would/could come within $1,500.00 of Chips quote out the door..NOT ONE did. I found just one dealership that would consider ordering at invoice but dealership fees were much higher and even getting that in writing seemed difficult.
In Florida you cannot buy a extended warranty online but if I'm in Iowa I can buy from Granger and save over $2,200.00. As best as I can figure I'll save over $5,000.00 on the truck and warranty. That's on a regular cab XL 2 wheel drive. Granger does require a $2,000.00 deposit for a 2 wheel drive truck since that's almost impossible to sell up there. I think a lot of folks who are pricing against Granger do not really compare there out the door pricing! That IS the 'price' of the truck.. Absolutely NO mandatory dealer add on's like tinted windows GPS B.S. or paint protection etc etc. plus no dealer in Florida I have found has lower fees or even close.
I'm starting to look forward to the road trip to get mine!

Local dealer got a Lariat in.

Also my '24 RCSB tracker has updated, but still not moved at all. Ordered 09/2023.

So that means that it's not a Dynamic Bending Headlight or headlight harness issue like some were thinking (and what I believe was stated as an issue for the Lightning).

So.. maybe the delay is PAT related and they were trying to not have to do the whole "63X" situation (ie. get the PAT ready in a reasonable time).

For those using chat to get updates. Are you just using the standard Ford chat or a particular link or dept. My XLT has been showing in production since Jan 18. Last update on the tracker was 3 days ago and it now shows in production 2/2 and nothing more. My dealer isn't much help and just tell me it shows built on their end but nothing more. I ordered Sept 28. Was hoping chat may give me more information.

I received another update this morning still saying in production and taking longer than expected. Platinum 702A ordered 9/28/23 build and blend Jan 19th '24. WTF Ford? Estimated delivery still shows last two weeks of March. I suspect the PAT might be part of the delay but it's just a guess at this point. Six months from date of order (if then) is crazy.

I received that still “in production but experiencing delays” bs email on 2/27. Order 11/7, build date 2/12 in production since then updated on the tracker 2/16. That’s it. Brutal

No movement on anything. Latest update received yesterday "in production" and "taking longer than expected." Delivery date remains March 15th to 21st but I have serious doubts that will happen.

Your information above is almost a duplicate of mine, Order date is the same, Jan 19th in production and no additional information available since then. Dealer said it shows built on their end but nothing more. We're in the same boat so please let me know if you get any information. My guess is the PAT holding up but who knows.

Lots of us are in the same boat. I ordered Nov 11th. In production since 1/31. Hasn't moves since and my salesman says his records show that it is built. All he knows. Chat says delivery March 17 to the 21st. We shall see.

VTR 16 I seen that you got the XL High package..Did you get the Work Surface? Can you please post close up pictures of the middle jump seat if it has it or not? I'm installing leather interior and the work surface might be a issue for the look I'm going for. Interior pics of the 2024 XL especially regular cab's are almost non-existent now.

Assuming this is Randall Ford in Arkansas, they only have one lariat on their site and here’s the sticker. 3/3/24 blend date, so it showed up quickly!

Looks like the ones getting built now are shipping out quicker than those in storage, similar to before.
