Yeah I'd heard bad things about the ones by the cable. Not necessarily this one or even for our truck just in general. I used to have a frontier and wanted one for it but heard nothing but bad things. How's yours working out , by the looks of it the design is way better than the ones for the frontier.

Works great. I did have to take it apart and flip it as I wasn't paying attention to the directions.

Thays good to hear there decent for our trucks. Maybe I should've saved a little and got that one. Only thing is I was able to use points to get it and I do like the fact it's hidden.

I wish we had a pick and pull around me. I believe a few hours away we have one but don't think it's a good one.

Higher trims come with it but not everyone wants the bells and whistles and higher price tag.

Truthfully I'd love a Lariat with a vinyl floor. I hate the carpet and everyone that has it covers it up with something close to vinyl anyway like weather tech or whatever.

I did give some thought to a STX. I just wanted to try the higher trim and who knows maybe the next truck in 10 years will be an STX hybrid. ?‍

The wing things are for aerodynamics supposedly. I've seen something similar on other brands now. No regrets changing them out but it's cheaper to remove and trim them down.

When I looked at truck the very first time I told my wife those have got to go. I was just going to remove them but it had that big hole there so it took me a bit to imfigure out they had this delete kit. Ordered it and finally got to put them on today. I keep looking out the window at my truck like I just put new rims on it or something. It looks so much better now.

You can buy the parts and add the 12" screen for less than a higher trim. There are some threads on that.

Power seat I'm still not sure I like it. Had manual back and powered seat bottom on my 2011 I thought that was perfect. I could drop the seat back fast for a quick nap. Now I have to hold the button and slowly go back. ?

Enjoy your new easier tailgate. I like that color and I kept playing with the heritage package giving two tone black with area 51 it looked great on website.

Yeah I'd seen threads of adding 12" screen but I keep going back into will it work like it should. Is there going to be stuff that doesn't work since Mines only a stx. Is the android auto going to work right. Well bottom line is if I did do that I'd want to be sure everything works and there's not button pushed and it says not supported.
My wife is short so I like hitting the base back before getting in. It's not that big a deal tho.

I just installed the Ford damper kit as well. Very nice. I had an aftermarket one, but it required the removal of one of the bed tie downs (the tailgate one). The tie down is too handy for holding down plywood or drywall sheets that are below the tie downs on the bed sides.

Didn't know you had to remove that. Yeah those are pretty handy I wouldn't want to lose it.
