So vin view is a company that the dealer has to subscribe to. My dealer has had it for seven years and they only thought it worked with gm (they have 16 dealers). I told them that it works with a lot of manufacturers and they were shocked. They finally signed me up for alerts. The guy I’m dealing with was like you have taught me more about the building process for ford in 7 months then I have ever known in the 7 years I’ve been here?. That’s what happens when you have ocd and are waiting for a vehicle. Nothing but time to research.
