Truck Shipping/Delivery Times?

Hi there,mine was built march 16 and shipped march 26,it’s been in transit ever since with th delivery date changing 13 times.no holds no one knows why..it’s going from Dearborn to Oakville Ontario 4 hrs

• In Production 03/25/2022
• Built 06/19/2022

In theory it says it'd be delivered between July 13th and the 19th, hopefully I get it for that time or sooner.

You didn't post a shipped date? Getting the built email is seperate from a shipped email, even though it gives you dates in the built email.

Hm… seems they probably sent it to Oakland California and are scrambling to get it to the right place.

In the email received 06/25 it stated "Our current estimate for delivery to Sawgrass Ford is be‍tween July 13, 2022 an‍d July 19, 2022".

So we will see how it goes.

Ordered oct built march shipped march,still no truck..delivery changes every week..12 weeks no truck going from Dearborn to Oakville ontario (4 hour drive)and ford customer service is no help at all

That’s terrible so it’s been sitting in the agincourt depot,I know there is a trucker shortage but this is nuts

There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to how things are shipped.
Living in Canada we do not get e mails from Ford but have to rely on our dealers to keep us in the loop.
my blend date was 6/17 and showed in production for about a week The Ford tracker showed it built on 6/20.

I was boarding a flight out of Toronto on 6/22 when I received a text from my dealer telling me my truck had arrived along with a few pictures.
The Ford tracker was never updated, seems like truck was built and shipped the very next day.
pick up this Thursday if all goes well.

Good For You!!! And I do mean that sincerely. Many posters on this site have had much different experiences.

This is the kind of thing that makes Ford seem like a Clown Show to me. It proves that they can do it right. When they do it right, they look like a professional well oiled machine. Unfortunately, lots of posters here are on the other far end of the spectrum, in some cases waiting more than a year for an ordered truck. Sometimes Ford sends out the built email, but doesn't ship the truck for months thereafter. It is hard to understand why Ford doesn't make more of an effort to not allow long term stragglers.

I understand stand that and was fully expecting a much longer wait for sure. There seems to be no consistency to anything.
when I ordered the truck back in January there were no constraints on my build then they started deleting features last being multi contour seats and it was scheduled shortly after.
We can only hope things get better.

My truck is at ramp 59, awaiting shipment since the 15th. chat told me today it is received by carrier, awaiting shipment at ramp 59. That’s the 1st time they told me received By carrier. Is that just the verbiage that person used, or is that something to be excited about?

The shipping situation right now is just the icing on the cake of disappointment that is ordering a vehicle from Ford. My truck has been sitting for almost a month. Dealer is not even an hour from the plant. The only reason I haven’t cancelled is because I stupidly spent thousands on accessories for this truck.

I don’t get the impression that anyone at Ford or the dealer cares about how terrible this is for customers. I hope the build quality is good enough that it lasts a long time. I am not optimistic about that at this point.

oh the dealers care. they don't make money if the truck doesn't come in. They want it to come in more than you do. They want to take your money and pay overhead, go on vacations, feed their families, ect....

I’m X plan, so I think my dealer wants me to cancel so they can sell for more profit.
