Stopping in from the 3/21 week to say hi. Just hit the 30 day chip hold mark with no end in sight. Was told it was projected to come off hold sometime this week, 4/24-4/30 (or delivered to my dealer depending on who you talk to..yeah right) but zero movement yet. Originally ordered 12/15 and was ready for a wait, but this process had been tedious at best. Today I was so bummed I went and looked at and drove two different 2019 Raptors at area dealers and am really tempted to pull the trigger on one that only has 22k miles, despite the slightly outrageous price they’re asking. I really want that Lariat Powerboost, but honestly almost all of the excitement about this purchase is gone now.

Man, i feel ya, but you've waited so long at this point so I wouldn't settle for something used. You'll always look back and second guess your decision, regardless how bitchin that raptor is.

Same day and same unknown but I really hope that "April" is correct. I guess we will see this Friday!!:

It is still being affected by the Micro Chip Shortage. However it is expected to enter the shipping phase by Apr-28-2022. I would recommend continuing to check back periodically for any new information."

I hope it gets released soon. It seems like the Dearborn trucks get chip hold more often then KC.

I hope April is right. Priciliana told me 4/30-5/6 arrival. But I haven’t even received a built email.

Chat confirmed a new chip window, the 19th through 25th came and went.


Thanks again for waiting! From what I can gather, your truck is currently on hold at the plant waiting on a microchip. We are working closely with our suppliers to address production constraints tied to the global semiconductor chip shortage. The delay is estimated to be resolved as early as May 6th, but no later than May 12th. Please kindly note this date may change to a sooner date if the microchip is secured before estimated, but you're more than welcome to check periodically with us, or the selling dealer to see if there's an update on that.
