Ordered Jan 15. Got my VIN Feb 1st.

Last I heard was 3/28 build date. But that was before they started idling the Kansas plant. So I'm not sure if 3/28 is still valid.

I ordered 1/29, VIN received 2/10. Mine is a Dearborn VIN with 3/28 production week date. I would love to know if the KC idle does anything to the DB schedule?

Ordered 1/24 - Platinum, SuperCrew, Anitmatter Blue, 4x4, Max Recline, CCD, Scales, 5.5 box, BAP, No Adaptive Steering (wondering if adding it will improve my timing). Got the order confirmation from Ford the same day but nothing since then. My order number was F006 and I'm wondering if that means I'm the 6th order of the year/month from that dealership (I'm in the Seattle area). It sounds like there was success with the dealer in Augusta, GA. My dealer did agree to X plan pricing since it's a factory order.

I'm also in the market for an Expedition since my lease on a Honda Odyssey is expiring this year.

Just found this forum about a week ago. Ordered my 2022 XLT Sport in race red, 302A package, 20 inch wheels, 5.0 Liter Coyote V8, towing mirrors, moon roof, box liner, step tailgate.

Ordered Dec 15-21, Received my VIN 10 days later, got my green sticker for blend date of April 08-22, today, checking Order Track, it says my truck will be in production April 07-22. Green sticker says final ass'y plant Kansas City.

Here's the link so you can add that detail, I already built in most of what you provided. The sticker will have your sequence number. Just add the vin to the same column as the others and the link will populate for you.

Posted this in a different Jan '22 Order thread and then realized this thread existed.

Christmas just came in April for me. I ordered on 1/24/22 and have been frustrated with zero updates since my confirmation mail I received the same day. I've been considering what to remove from my order to try and speed things up. Then I check my email and what do I see?

Wait, what?! Built?!?! But I never got a VIN! My dealer had no updates.

Here is a shot of the options that I chose:

To all of you still waiting for news, I hope you find an email like this. What an awesome feeling. I'm going to try and keep it a secret from the wife and kids and just surprise them. Here's to hoping the shipping doesn't get delayed either!

A huge thank you to all of the contributors on this site. Y'all made the wait more bearable.

Now to schedule window tint for the front windows. I'm also considering getting an underbody treatment after seeing the pictures of rust from trucks that were parked outside waiting for delivery. I'm planning to have this truck a long time!

Congrats, I am hoping for same as I have yet to receive a VIN as well, and dealer has no update. Ordered 1/4 and received an email from Ford on 3/18 stating there was a delay.

The lack of communications has to be the most frustrating part.

I am currently in a 2019 Ranger lease that is supposed to end June 1, had to go through the process of getting an extension on my lease and got run around from Ford Credit as to why I needed an extension and why I do not have a timeframe, I told them to talk to Ford, they said to talk to dealer and it was a circle of ridiculousness to say the least.

I am not naive to the fact they are having labor and parts shortages but something has to to give.

For the first time ever I am actually looking at Silverado Trail Boss as a backup.
