Yes, if you are on a chip hold, it will stay in production. We have a bronco that was on a chip hold for over two months.

doesn't look like anything populates under PCM Just look for G at bottom of list and tear tag will post when you get your built or shipped email I forget when exactly mine did.

I do have the G, so I assume my truck is built! Now the real torture begins!

Not as informed as I used to be about car industry but im pretty sure it's a built truck Identifer from the factory.

*edit, it's the identifier of the PCM.*

This is me doing google, not quite sure what the real benefit is in knowing your tear tag or where you get it or if you need it.

“the tear tag is a 4 digit identifier of the PCM. If you see it change from DAA to a 4 digit number/letter combination, it basically means a PCM has been assigned to your vehicle. The tear tag has all the basic engine and emissions information of the vehicle.”

When my bronco was built in January, a DAA showed up next to the tear tag, then the modules populated and a four digit code showed up next to the tear tag. Then it went on a micro chip hold for over two months. I wouldn’t put much stock into was shows up or doesn’t show up next to the tear tag. Mine went into production 04/01 and I rallied to a guy on Facebook who works at the KC plant yesterday and he said it was born 03/30 in the body shop, built 04/01 and already at the shipping yard waiting for a convoy.
