While I completely understand the state of the world amidst the global pandemic and the strains on the entire supply chain, my frustration has finally boiled over. I ordered my truck in July and waited patiently for the supply chain to open up in order for Ford to be able to produce my truck, which was built and completed on October 27th. That is where this story picks up. They estimated and ETA delivery date of 11/26-12/2 and I thought that was a bit on the long-side but willing to wait my turn. Fast forward to 12/2 and the date moves one day out every single day with no sign of changing. I track it on United Road and they have had it In New Castle Delaware for over a month. I called they Ford Customer Service who said the dealer needs to contact their regional manager to get it escalated. The dealer said they did that but nothing changes except the date keeps sliding out another day. Where it really burns me up is that now trucks are being delivered to my dealership that were produced 8 DAYS AGO!!! In fact they are being shipped from a rail yard 10 miles from the yard where my truck currently sits.

No one can give me a reasonable answer or even a bad explanation. They are sorta like, we checked the box on what we can do so hopefully it shows up tomorrow, if not wait some more. How is that ok? I work in a client service business and I would be out of business if I I missed a promised deadline without even an explanation, a firm delivery promise and compensation for their time wasted.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks to help shake this thing loose?

No tips here; I'm "in the same boat". Truck built 11/2 trucked to train on 11/3 (Norfolk Southern, Birmingham, MO). I thought it would be chuggin down the tracks soon after and I had an order ID from United RD trucking to pick it up for the dealer on the other end. Build sites had an 18 day transit though had a delivery estimate of 12/7. I find out from united RD rep that the order number wasn't even activated yet. Ford sends out the order but activates later as needed. I then received the train car number from my sales rep and I have been tracking my truck-on-a-train for a last couple of weeks or more with very little movement. It sat for days and now moves slowly my way... any day / week now.

This is probably a really dumb question, but is it anything a PM to @Ford Motor Company could help with?

I have the same situation except my truck was built August 24,2031 and had sat waiting for a chip until October 24th and then was “awaiting shipping”. It finally shipped on December 7…. I agree with you about customer service and such. The problem is that these trucks are in such demand that they don’t care……

Actually, your situation isn't even remotely the same. The biggest problem you are facing is that you ordered an ICE F150 to arrive when gasoline will be $20 per gallon.
Gutsy move. ??

Completely in the dark about the shipping status of my order... Trackers are down, palsapp is still showing it at the world of fun lot on 21Nov, nothing on United Road, or any details from my dealer... Getting frustrated ?

Mine was built 11/02. Shipped 11/06. Eta was 11/23. It’s now 12/13 and dealer doesn’t seem to know where my truck is. Through my investigating, pretty sure it’s been sitting in the rail yard since 11/22. Dealer just got trucks built a week before mine and now a week after mine. Frustration was my level 2 weeks ago.

Honestly, it boiled over for me last week and I started pushing my dealer very hard. They called their "District Manager" on Thursday who flagged it for priority, lo and behold 3 days later it showed up. You may want to reach out to see if they have done that yet.

Yup, I'm suspecting mine is still in MO at the world of fun lot. Dealer doesn't have a rail car number, so I'll take it that as it hasn't even made it to the rail yard yet...

I shot a PM to @Ford Motor Company to see if I can get any insight. I feel like it's wishful thinking, but I guess we'll see...
They got back to me pretty quickly when I reached out. I feel like they helped shake it loose for me.
